Delicious homemade mee hoon kueh. Recommend getting the set meal for extra 3.50 because the Nian Gao slaps and definitely completes the meal. The Nian Gao sells out by evening so recommend for lunch. The noodles are really springy and have good umami. Came here for years and standards hasn’t changed. For bigger eaters, can upsize noodles

Nestled in the heart of Orchard, Greenview Café has long been a hidden gem for those craving an affordable yet satisfying bowl of mee hoon kueh. Returning after a hiatus, I was eager to indulge in their signature dish, and while its soul remains unchanged, there were a few noticeable differences. The mee hoon kueh itself, known for its rustic, hand-pulled charm, was as chewy and comforting as ever. However, today’s rendition leaned on the thicker side, with slightly floury edges that detracted from the usual bite. That said, the dish still delivered on flavour—the deep-fried anchovies added an irresistible crunch and the umami-laden gravy coated each ribbon-like piece beautifully. Price hikes are inevitable, especially in the Orchard area, and while the increase is understandable, it does set certain expectations. If the dough’s consistency were just a touch more refined, this bowl would have been a near-perfect indulgence. For now, it remains a nostalgic favourite that still holds its own.

I really enjoyed the homemade mee hoon kueh, love that they have a huge variety of homemade noodles to choose from! The fried mee hoon kueh is just like char kway teow, the noodle is chewy and dishes were well seasoned. The herbal mee hoon kueh was not overpowering and very easy to eat, perfect for people who dislike the strong herbal taste :)

Came here twice during our trip as we couldn’t stop thinking about it! Amazing hand torn noodles with fragrant broth, and mama spice noodles. Dried anchovies were a nice touch

The chilli ban Mian is nice I order the original ban Mian as the Malaysia ban Mian with additional of runny egg cost extra $2 which not worth it. I choose dried Mee Hoon Kuek and the sauce is nice. Their Kuek is confirmed man made as it is of different shapes and have the thickness and chewing texture which I love it. Also order their Nian Gao and fried fritters can give both a miss as nothing special and Nian Gao is not sweet. Hear Their fried rice is also nice w wok hey will try next time. We went on weekday 12.40pm with a big group of 7 and manage to get a seat very fast. Definitely will visit again
